Earth has gone through an extinction-level event, caused by rapacious and unsustainable use of resources. Unfortunately, the graphics have gotten very much improved, so would you like a treat if you play it first.Dead Space is set in 2508. The amount of clearing time is still the same. Some chapters have been reworked and so they can take longer, but not enough. There are twelve chapters in total, each of which can be completed in an hour. The original game took 12 hours to complete.
